Director, EDUCATOR, PERFORMER, MULTIDISCIPLINARY ARTIST

Artist Statement

I create art to inspire change. Sometimes that change is transformative; other times, it is simple as inviting someone to pause, reflect, or see the world-and themselves from a new perspective.

I don’t believe in limiting myself to a single medium. Whether directing, choreography, teaching, performance, public art, or installation, i use whatever form best serves the story and the people experiencing it. There is no single way to live, so there cannot be only one way to create art.

Music, movement, storytelling, and audience immersion are at the heart of my work. I believe music reaches us in ways words alone cannot, stories help us recognize ourselves in one another, and movement communicates what language often cannot.

You’ll often find me in schools, churches, community centers, local parks, and of course, on the stage-my favorite place to be. I believe art belongs wherever people are. My goal is to create meaningful experiences that bring people together, strengthen communities, and encourage reflection.

I believe in being a light wherever I go. Rather than complaining about the world around me , I’d rather help create the environment I want to see. If my work inspires eve in e person to think differently, connect more deeply, or leave with a renewed sense of hope, then it has fulfilled its purpose.
